Job summary

BrightCare HomeCare LLC is seeking caregivers to support clients in their own homes in La Place, LA. You will assist with daily living tasks, provide personal care, and help with mobility and meal preparation while offering compassionate companionship.

We value reliability and a genuine desire to help others live independently, with the option for PRN, part-time, or full-time shifts based on client needs and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation.
• Have a high school diploma or GED and pass background check.
• Experience as a home caregiver or in senior communities preferred.
• Positive attitude and sincere desire to help others stay independent.
• Ability to work flexible part-time, full-time or PRN shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.
• Provide personal care and support with mobility and transfers.
• Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Offer companionship and respite for family members.
• Follow client-specific instructions and home care plans.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes
• Provide assistance with personal care
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding
• Properly manage household needsProvide companionship and respite services for the family.
• You will be working in La Place.
• This is a PRN position, can be part-time and full-time based on the shifts.

What we’re looking for:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check and pre employment screening
• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities
