Job summary

BrightCare HomeCare LLC in Metairie, LA is seeking caregivers to join a compassionate team dedicated to helping clients live independently at home. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, meals, and household tasks while providing companionship.

Training and mentorship are provided; opportunities for advancement exist. We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and ongoing CE hours through online learning, with a supportive environment that values care quality and client

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment screening
• Previous experience as an at-home caregiver or in senior communities
• Positive attitude and sincere desire to help others

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes
• Provide assistance with personal care, mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Properly manage household needs
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family
• Work in New Orleans and surrounding areas, including Metairie, Gretna, West Bank, Algiers, and Kenner
