Job summary

Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 to advance design and construction of highway and bridge projects. The role emphasizes 2D/3D modeling, BIM implementation, and data management within the Digital Delivery Technology Unit.

You will collaborate with BIM leaders, stay at the forefront of digital delivery, and support in-house staff with training on Bentley tools and data standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering and three years of transportation engineering experience.
One year of general experience at the working level in transportation engineering.
PE licensure or Engineer-In-Training licensure may substitute for degree requirement.
Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

Develop complex 2D and 3D models for highway and bridge projects during design and construction phases.
Provide design/engineering support to ensure BIM readiness and data integrity.
Collaborate with BIM leaders and use CAD/BIM tools to advance digital delivery of CTDOT projects.
