Job summary

Graham Personnel Services seeks a Transportation Billing Specialist in Greensboro, NC to prepare customer and warehouse invoices using driver paperwork, dispatch information, QuickBooks, Excel, and customer transportation portals. You will answer billing questions, coordinate with internal departments, and provide administrative support.

Strong customer service, organization, and attention to detail are essential; billing portal experience and accounts receivable are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and experience.

• Accounts receivable and billing portal experience is a plus.
• Previous transportation/logistics billing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate customer invoices by reviewing driver paperwork and information from our dispatch system.
• Use of our dispatch software and Excel.
• Communication with customers concerning any questions about the invoices.
• Warehouse facility will take information provided by the facility and create invoices using QuickBooks.
• Utilize customer transportation portals for invoicing and related billing activities
• Other miscellaneous administrative duties that will be included with the position, including, but not limited to, assisting the Sales Department from time to time, answering phones, setting up fuel cards and travel reservations.

$23.00-$25.00 hourly

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Position Summary

The Transportation Billing Specialist prepares customer and warehouse invoices using driver paperwork, dispatch information, QuickBooks, Excel, and customer transportation portals. The role answers customer billing questions, coordinates with internal departments, and provides administrative support. Strong customer service, organization, and attention to detail are important; accounts receivable and billing portal experience are a plus. Related industry experience is preferred but not required. Medical Billing experience does not qualify as relevant billing experience for this position.

• Ability to coordinate and work with multiple departments within the organization, e.g., Sales, AR, and Administration.
• Billing portal experience is a plus.
• Previous experience in transportation, trucking, freight, logistics, shipping, warehousing, distribution, or related industries is preferred, but not required. Medical Billing experience does not qualify as relevant billing experience for this position.
