Central Bucks School District seeks a Transportation Assistant (School Bus Aide) for the 2026/2027 school year at the Transportation Center. The role supports Special Needs students aboard a school bus, ensuring safety through wheelchair securement and seat belt use.

LOCATION: Transportation Center, Transportation Department

AVAILABLE: 2026/2027 School Year (Year round hiring)

COMPENSATION: $20.84 p/hr (2026-2027 rate)

HOURS: Full-time/10-month Exact hours TBD

The Transportation Assistant (School Bus Aide) will ride on a school bus and assist Special Needs students. Applicants must be in good physical condition as responsibilities include securing wheelchairs (including tie-downs), strapping a child into a safety vest and/or fastening a seat belt. Training provided.

Applicants must be able to stoop, crawl, climb stairs and lift up to 50 pounds. Must have patience and enjoy working with children.
