Job summary
PPG is seeking a Data Analyst for USCA Transportation, based at the Corporate HQ in Pittsburgh. You will analyze transportation performance, develop dashboards, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions and continuous improvement across logistics operations.
The role focuses on supporting carrier management, network optimization, and performance measurement, with in-person work Monday through Thursday and flexible remote Fridays.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in related field.
- 3+ years of transportation/logistics analytics.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau experience.
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (OTM, SAP TM, Blue Yonder or equivalent).
- Knowledge of SQL and data analytics methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze transportation performance, freight spend, service levels, network flows, and opportunities across all modes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, KPI reporting, and BI tools for decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy across transportation systems and ERP platforms.
- Support carrier management, bidding, contract reviews, and performance measurement.
- Support network optimization, route design, and logistics cost reduction.
