Job summary

PPG Data Analyst, USCA Transportation, drives data analysis and BI initiatives to optimize transportation operations and logistics performance. This role supports carrier management, network optimization, and continuous improvement through data-driven insights and dashboards.

You will work from the Corporate HQ in Pittsburgh, reporting to the Associate Director of Logistics Operations & Planning, with a hybrid schedule including Flexible Fridays.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in transportation, logistics, supply chain analytics, BI, or related roles.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similar visualization tools.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (OTM, SAP TM, Blue Yonder, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of SQL, data analytics methods, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation performance, freight spend, service levels, and network flows to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, KPI reporting, and BI tools for decision-making.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across ERP systems and reporting solutions.
• Provide analytics for carrier management, sourcing events, bid analyses, and performance measurement.
• Support transportation network optimization, route design, shipment consolidation, and modeling.
