Job summary

FedEx Corporation is seeking a hybrid analyst to join our Pittsburgh-area team. You will analyze costs and performance, prepare reports and assist in expenditure proposals, and support operations including first- and last-mile and dock processes.

The role emphasizes strong technical writing, presentation, and training skills along with a solid understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and data systems. The position is based at the FedEx campus and requires some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or related field; related experience may offset degree requirements.
• No experience required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; working knowledge of programming and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost justification, performance analysis.
• Prepare reports and assist in expenditure proposals.
• Budget preparation, cost and performance analysis, cost justifications and expenditure proposals, report preparation, training & publications, P&D support, dock support, and other analytical duties as needed.
• Document field processes and updates corporate publications.
• Provide support for operations, including first-and-last mile and dock.
• Participate on new product development teams, Quality Action Teams (QAT), and special project teams as assigned.
• Terminal Capacity Analysis.
• Holiday Cutback Analysis.
• Special product development and analysis.
• Provide implementation support for deployment of new functions, processes and systems as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
