Job Responsibilities

• Assist the bus driver in maintaining student conduct on the bus.
• Assist young students in getting on and off the bus.
• Provide written records of violations of student code to the building principal.
• Provide instruction to students regarding passenger safety and ensure that students wear their seat belts when the bus is so equipped.
• Participate in scheduled emergency bus exit drills.
• Check to be sure that all students have been dropped off, and no passengers remain on the bus at the end of the bus route.
• Assist the bus driver in keeping the bus clean.

Terms of Employment

Position to begin: ASAP. 10 Months; Part Time; Approximately 1-½ hour for both the AM and PM bus runs.

Rate of Pay

$16.15 per hour. All rates of pay are based upon the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
