Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• Good physical health and ability to perform assigned duties.
• Knowledge of bus passenger safety and effective discipline procedures.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S citizenship or legal residency.

Responsibilities

• Assist the bus driver in maintaining student conduct on the bus.
• Assist young students in getting on and off the bus.
• Provide written records of violations of student code.
• Provide instruction to students regarding passenger safety.
• Participate in scheduled emergency bus exit drills.
• Check to ensure all students have been dropped off at the end of the route.
• Assist in keeping the bus clean.
