Job summary

Capital Electric Supply in Upper Marlboro, MD, is hiring a Warehouse Administrator - Transportation to support dispatch, manifests, and fleet coordination for our transportation and warehouse operations. You will work with drivers, sales, purchasing, and warehouse staff to ensure timely outbound deliveries and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office proficiency with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Experience with routing systems or ERP platforms preferred.
• Prior warehouse administrative or transportation experience preferred.
• MHE experience preferred or ability to become MHE certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatch duties, including sales ETA requests and driver call-in escalations.
• Support communication related to outbound deliveries.
• Scan, maintain, and close manifests daily.
• Track daily stops, hours, and miles.
• Report daily time commitment metrics.
• Assist with Innovo routing as needed.
• Track returns, maintain returned stop logs, notify sales, and provide daily updates.
• Coordinate fleet service with Ryder and Penske.
• Report IFTA mileage and monitor fleet mileage usage.
• Monitor Geotab for maintenance needs and HOS compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Transportation leadership.
