Job summary

Capital Electric Supply is seeking a Warehouse Administrator - Transportation to join our team in Upper Marlboro, MD. This role supports dispatch, manifests, and fleet coordination to ensure timely deliveries and accurate documentation.

You will work closely with drivers, sales, purchasing, and warehouse staff, tracking stops, hours, and mileage while maintaining efficient routing and ERP records. Previous warehouse admin or transportation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office with working knowledge of Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with routing systems or ERP platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatch duties, including sales ETA requests and driver call-in escalations.
• Support communication related to outbound deliveries.
• Scan, maintain, and close manifests daily.
• Track daily stops, hours, and miles.
• Report daily time commitment metrics.
• Assist with Innovo routing as needed.
• Track returns, maintain returned stop logs, notify sales, and provide daily updates.
• Coordinate fleet service with Ryder and Penske.
• Report IFTA mileage and monitor fleet mileage usage.
• Monitor Geotab for maintenance needs and HOS compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Transportation leadership.
