Carroll Motor Fuels is hiring for a local CDL Fuel Transport Driver to load, transport, and deliver petroleum products to commercial customers in the local area. You’ll spend your day on the road, returning home at the end of your shift, with home daily schedules and independent, hands-on work.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, TWIC, and a current DOT Medical Certificate.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED recommended but not required.
• CDL-A with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements and TWIC Card.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• 3+ years’ experience driving fuel tanker vehicles preferred.
• Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 50 lbs and stabilize 100 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally with customers and team.

Responsabilidades

• Load, transport, and deliver petroleum products to local customers.
• Safely operate a straight truck to delivery locations.
• Load petroleum products at loading facilities and deliver fuel to tanks and vessels.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain DOT and delivery documentation and logs.
• Follow DOT rules, safety procedures, and report vehicle concerns.

Your responsibilities will include:Safely operate a straight truck to customer delivery locations.Load petroleum products at designated loading facilities.Deliver fuel to customer tanks and other approved receiving vessels following company safety and delivery procedures.Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.Operate onboard delivery computer and meter systems.Maintain required DOT and delivery documentation, including manifests, emergency response information, vehicle inspection reports, and hours-of-service records.Follow all applicable traffic laws, DOT requirements, and company safety procedures.Promptly report vehicle or equipment concerns to Fleet Maintenance.Operate other company vehicles within applicable license restrictions when assigned.Perform other duties as assigned.Education, Skills and Abilities:High School Diploma or GED recommended but not required.Must be 21 years of age (DOT required).Current/valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements and TWIC Card.Current/valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.Pass a FMCSA Clearinghouse Query.3+ Years’ experience driving fuel tanker vehicles, preferred.Ability to train and learn about the petroleum industry.Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. and the ability to stabilize a minimum of 100 lbs.Ability to work with little supervision.Ability to effectively communicate verbally with others, including employees and customers.Must meet company insurability requirements.Working Conditions:Exposure to weather %+ of shift; Works outside % of shift.Extended exposure to petroleum productsSpends % of day driving, subject to DOT rules and regulations.Spends % of day standing and monitoring fill location.Spends % of day lifting/pushing/pulling a minimum of 50 lbs or more.Spends % of day climbing ladders. Spends % of day walking/climbing stairs.Schedule may include early morning, evening or weekend shifts depending upon the needs of the business.
