Job summary

OXXO USA (Southwest Convenience Stores, LLC) in New Mexico seeks a safety-focused Fuel Transport Driver to deliver petroleum products to customer sites with strict DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience with a safe driving record.
• Strong knowledge of hazmat handling, DOT regulations, and FMCSR.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods, lift, connect/disconnect heavy hoses, and climb safely.
• Must pass required physicals, drug screenings, and maintain driving qualifications.
• Authorization to load/unload products at partner facilities (training provided).
• Clear and timely communication with dispatch and customers.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily delivery schedules from dispatch and plan routes efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tank truck and trailer to ensure DOT safety compliance.
• Safely operate a tank truck and trailer to deliver fuel to customer sites.
• Connect hoses, open/close valves, monitor gauges, and record quantities delivered.
• Provide delivery receipts and maintain regulatory and company documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch after each delivery and notify customers prior to arrival.
• Address customer inquiries professionally and escalate as needed.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness and perform housekeeping as required.
• Adhere to traffic laws, DOT regulations, facility rules, and safety procedures.
• Attend safety meetings and ongoing training.

Job Summary

We are seeking a safety-focused and customer-oriented Fuel Transport Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of petroleum products to customer locations while ensuring compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, company policies, and industry safety standards.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 operation.

Education And Experience

• Address customer inquiries professionally, escalating to appropriate company contacts when necessary.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness, performing housekeeping duties as required.
