Carroll Motor Fuels is hiring an experienced CDL Fuel Transport Driver for local routes in the Hunt Valley/Cockeysville, MD area. You will safely operate a straight truck, load and deliver petroleum products, and return home at the end of your shift.

The role requires a Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, TWIC, and a DOT Medical Certificate, with 3+ years of tanker experience preferred. Competitive benefits included.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED recommended.
• Must be 21 years of age (DOT requirement).
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements and TWIC Card.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Pass the FMCSA Clearinghouse Query.
• 3+ years’ experience driving fuel tanker vehicles preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate a straight truck to customer delivery locations.
• Load petroleum products at designated loading facilities.
• Deliver fuel to customer tanks and other approved receiving vessels following company safety and delivery procedures.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Operate onboard delivery computer and meter systems.
• Maintain required DOT and delivery documentation (manifests, emergency info, inspection reports, hours-of-service).
• Follow all traffic laws, DOT requirements, and company safety procedures.
• Promptly report vehicle or equipment concerns to Fleet Maintenance.

Carroll Motor Fuels is looking for an experienced CDL Fuel Transport Drivers to join our team. This is a local driving position delivering petroleum products to our commercial customers. You'll spend your day on the road, work independently, and return home at the end of your shift.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a straight truck to customer delivery locations.
• Load petroleum products at designated loading facilities.
• Deliver fuel to customer tanks and other approved receiving vessels following company safety and delivery procedures.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Operate onboard delivery computer and meter systems.
• Maintain required DOT and delivery documentation, including manifests, emergency response information, vehicle inspection reports, and hours-of-service records.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws, DOT requirements, and company safety procedures.
• Promptly report vehicle or equipment concerns to Fleet Maintenance.
• Operate other company vehicles within applicable license restrictions when assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Skills and Abilities:

• High School Diploma or GED recommended but not required.
• Must be 21 years of age (DOT required).
• Current/valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements and TWIC Card.
• Current/valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Pass a FMCSA Clearinghouse Query.
• 3+ Years’ experience driving fuel tanker vehicles, preferred.
• Ability to train and learn about the petroleum industry.
• Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. and the ability to stabilize a minimum of 100 lbs.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally with others, including employees and customers.
• Must meet company insurability requirements.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to weather %+ of shift; Works outside % of shift.
• Extended exposure to petroleum products
• Spends % of day driving, subject to DOT rules and regulations.
• Spends % of day standing and monitoring fill location.
• Spends % of day lifting/pushing/pulling a minimum of 50 lbs or more.
• Spends % of day climbing ladders. Spends % of day walking/climbing stairs.
• Schedule may include early morning, evening or weekend shifts depending upon the needs of the business.
