Carroll Motor Fuels is seeking a dedicated driver to deliver petroleum products locally in Maryland. You will operate a straight truck, manage deliveries, and complete required paperwork while adhering to DOT regulations.

Formación

• Must hold a valid Maryland CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• TWIC Card required.
• 21 years or older as per DOT.
• Strong driving safety record preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Drive a straight truck to delivery locations while obeying local traffic laws.
• Deliver petroleum products to residential and commercial customers.
• Operate the truck's onboard delivery computer and meter systems.
• Maintain required paperwork including manifests and driver inspections.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

That is why we encourage a healthy balance between working hours and personal time.Check out our website: https://www.carrollfuel.com/careers/Education, Skills, and Abilities:· High School Diploma or GED recommended, but not required.· Must be 21 years of age (DOT required).· Current/valid Maryland State Class B Commercial Driver's License with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements and TWIC Card.· Current/valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate; must be able to pass the FMCSA query.· 3+ Years’ experience driving tanker vehicles preferred.· Ability to train and learn the petroleum industry.· Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. and the ability to stabilize a minimum of 100 lbs.· Ability to work with little supervision.· Ability to effectively communicate verbally with others, including employees and customers.· Must meet company insurability requirements.Working Conditions:· Exposure to weather %+ of shift; Works outside % of shift.· Extended exposure to petroleum products· Spends % of day driving, subject to DOT rules and regulations.· Spends % of day standing and monitoring fill location.· Spends % of day lifting/pushing/pulling a minimum of 50 lbs or more.· Spends % of day climbing ladders.· Spends % of day walking/climbing stairs.· Schedule may include early morning, evening or weekend shifts depending upon the needs of the business.
