Carroll Motor Fuels is hiring a delivery driver in Pennsylvania. The role involves local routes with a straight truck, delivering petroleum products to residential and commercial customers, and handling daily paperwork.

Must hold a CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements and a TWIC Card; 21+ DOT rule applies. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including 401(k) match, medical/dental/vision, paid PTO, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Requirements:

A driving role with Carroll Motor Fuels requires a CDL license with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements plus the TWIC Card.

Our driver delivers various petroleum products to residential and/or commercial customers. Duties will include, but are not limited to, local driving in the local area using a straight truck, delivering petroleum products, and completing required daily paperwork.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a straight truck to delivery locations while obeying all local traffic laws.
• Deliver product, monitor the transfer of product from the delivery truck to the customer's vessel.
• Operate the truck's onboard delivery computer and meter systems.
• Maintain required paperwork including manifests, emergency response guides and Driver Vehicle Inspections Reports (DVI R's).
• Perform other tasks & duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications: Education, Skills, and Abilities:

• High School Diploma or GED recommended, but not required.
• Must be 21 years of age (DOT required).
• Current/valid Maryland State Class B Commercial Driver's License with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements and TWIC Card.
• Current/valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate; must be able to pass the FMCSA query.
• 3+ Years’ experience driving tanker vehicles preferred.
• Ability to train and learn the petroleum industry.
• Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. and the ability to stabilize a minimum of 100 lbs.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally with others, including employees and customers.
• Must meet company insurability requirements.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to weather %+ of shift; Works outside % of shift.
• Extended exposure to petroleum products
• Spends % of day driving, subject to DOT rules and regulations.
• Spends % of day standing and monitoring fill location.
• Spends % of day lifting/pushing/pulling a minimum of 50 lbs or more.

• Schedule may include early morning, evening or weekend shifts depending upon the needs of the business.
