Job summary

Saint Therese is seeking a Part-Time Transport Driver in Monroe, MI. Responsibilities include coordinating transportation for medical appointments, errands, and community outings, and ensuring drivers and companions meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience safely transporting passengers, preferably in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or similar customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reliable transportation for medical appointments, errands, community outings, and other essential destinations.
• Ensure transportation requests are scheduled efficiently and drivers/companions are matched to residents' needs.
• Collaborate with Health Services and the Resident Services/Wellness Coordinator for seamless communication and timely transportation.
• Respond to urgent transportation and delivery needs, including medical supplies and time-sensitive items.
• Lead by example by driving community vehicles when needed and creating a safe, dependable transportation experience.

• Provide peace of mind by ensuring transportation requests are scheduled efficiently and that drivers and companions are matched to residents' needs.
• Support exceptional resident care by partnering closely with Health Services and the Resident Services/Wellness Coordinator to ensure seamless communication and timely transportation.
• Make a meaningful impact every day by responding to urgent transportation and delivery needs, including medical supplies, laboratory materials, and other time-sensitive requests.
• Lead by example by driving community vehicles when needed and helping create a safe, dependable, and welcoming transportation experience for every resident.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a current State of Michigan Driver License as well as a Chauffeur License.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
