Responsibilities include triaging calls, weekly clinic attendance, and donor transplant team collaboration, with emphasis on education, testing authorization, and post-transplant support.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in Nursing required.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• 3+ years of RN work experience; transplant nursing experience strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Triage calls and coordinate patient flow with the multidisciplinary team.
• Attend weekly evaluation clinic for transplant recipients.
• Coordinate with the living donor kidney transplant team.
• Obtain prior authorization for testing.
• Provide pre- and postoperative education and support, and review labs.
• Collaborate on consults and informed consent processes.
