Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Kidney Transplant team as a Clinical Transplant Coordinator. This role supports patients through the transplant journey, coordinating evaluations, pre- and post-transplant care, and on-call coverage as needed.

The position follows Monday–Friday daylight hours with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule. The Clinical Transplant Coordinator I works with the transplant team to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with transplant coordination experience preferred.
• Ability to navigate UNOS listing requirements and transplant processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates evaluation process for transplant candidates with the multidisciplinary team.
• Delivers pre-transplant patient and family education and maintains listing status.
• Supports peri-operative coordination and liaises with organ procurement organizations.
• Monitors post-transplant care and coordinates follow-up and hospitalizations as needed.
• Pursues ABTC certification and participates in ongoing professional development.
