Qualifications

• BSN from a state-accredited nursing program.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in North Carolina.
• For Solid Organ Transplant: CCTC within 3 years of hire; for Bone Marrow Transplant: OCN or TCTCN within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care plans for pre- and post-transplant patients with multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee clinical, psychosocial, and financial needs of patients.
• Arrange pre-procedure tests and consultations to assess candidacy.
• Manage waiting lists and coordinate organ offers for solid organ transplants.
• Organize transplant processes with patients and medical teams.
• Monitor inpatient status, discharge needs, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate care across outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Assess organ function and determine needs for further intervention.
