Qualifications

MD, MD/PhD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board certification/eligibility in Gastroenterology.
Certification in Transplant Hepatology.
Medical licensure or eligibility in California.
ACGME-accredited fellowship or equivalent experience.
Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Responsibilities

Provide transplant hepatology clinical care including outpatient consultations and inpatient service duties.
Perform endoscopic procedures and participate in the Hepatology/Liver Transplant Service.
Supervise fellows, residents, and medical students; deliver lectures.
Engage in research and scholarly activities; contribute to program growth.
Collaborate with transplant surgeons and multidisciplinary teams.
