Qualifications

• MD/DO/PhD or equivalent required.
• Board certification/eligibility in Gastroenterology required.
• Certification in Transplant Hepatology preferred.
• Medical licensure or eligibility to practice in California required.
• ACGME-accredited fellowship or equivalent experience.
• Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hepatology outpatient consults and endoscopic procedures.
• Share duties of inpatient Hepatology/Liver Transplant Service.
• Supervise consultations and procedures by fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Engage in teaching, research, and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to program growth, outreach, quality improvement, and strategic development.
