Job summary
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time Clinician-Educator in Transplant Hepatology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The role combines top-tier clinical care in a busy transplant hepatology practice with pre- and post-transplant evaluation and outpatient hepatology.
A strong education commitment is required to mentor fellows and residents; research and quality-improvement activities are encouraged.
Qualifications
- MD degree and board certification in Transplant Hepatology.
- Board certification in Gastroenterology.
- Experience in transplant hepatology and outpatient hepatology clinic settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care for transplant hepatology patients, including pre- and post-transplant evaluation.
- Deliver hepatology outpatient care to a diverse patient population.
- Mentor and train fellows and residents; contribute to education.
- Engage in clinical research and quality improvement.
