Qualifications

• MD, MD/PhD, DO or equivalent degree.
• Board certification/eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Certification in Transplant Hepatology.
• Medical licensure or eligible for licensure in California.
• ACGME accredited fellowship or equivalent experience.
• Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Responsibilities

• Provide transplant hepatology care including outpatient consultations and endoscopic procedures.
• Share duties of inpatient Hepatology/Liver Transplant Service.
• Supervise consultations and procedures for fellows, residents, and medical students; deliver lectures.
• For Clinical X appointment, develop and implement investigator-initiated research and obtain extramural funding.
• For HSCP appointment, contribute significantly to research teams.
• Engage in program growth, outreach, quality improvement and strategic development.

Education

MD, MD/PhD, DO or equivalent degree

Board certification/eligibility in Gastroenterology

Certification in Transplant Hepatology

Medical licensure or eligible for licensure in the state of California

ACGME accredited fellowship or equivalent experience
