Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to coordinate all aspects of care for the transplant patient population. You will assess and plan with the patient, caregiver, and multidisciplinary team to meet needs across the care continuum, interpreting data for age-specific requirements and providing education.

Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program with a BSN, current RN license, and 1 year of RN experience (3 years preferred) is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience; 3 years preferred.
• Must obtain CCTC or CCTN within 3 years of hire; OC N/CPHON/BMTCN certifications may be required for Bone Marrow transplant.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for transplant patients across the care continuum.
• Assess and plan with patient, caregiver, and multidisciplinary team; interpret data for age-specific needs.
• Provide patient and family education on a consistent basis.
• Demonstrate leadership through quality improvement, committee work, and research.
