Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to coordinate all aspects of transplant patient care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. You will assess patient needs, plan care, and educate patients and families across the care continuum.

Successful candidates will hold an RN license, with BLS certification, and demonstrate leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills. This role requires flexibility and commitment to safety and excellence in care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license by state requirements.
• BLS (AHA/Heartcode/BLS/CPR) certification.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for transplant patients across the care continuum.
• Collaborate with patient, caregiver, and multidisciplinary team to meet needs.
• Provide patient and family education on a consistent basis.
• Lead quality improvement, research, and committee activities as assigned.
