Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Social Work or Social Welfare from an accredited college or university.
• 2 years experience as a clinical social worker in healthcare, including acute hospital or related area.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work with physicians, staff, and patients.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Ability to manage staff escalations.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care and customer service.
• CA LCSW license required (CA DCA).
• BLS Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association.
• Board Certified Clinical Supervision course (15 hours).
• Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) within 30 days of hire if in LA.

Aufgaben

• Coordinates and integrates clinical resource management activities at intra-, interdepartmental and hospital-wide levels.
• Assists in staffing transplant clinic and selection committees.
• Establishes and maintains performance improvement and quality control activities.
• Monitors staff clinical responsibilities and evaluates treatment plans.
• Provides consultations and second opinions on difficult cases.
• Ensures licenses, certifications and health assessments are up to date.
• Plans for staffing and publishes daily work assignments by 8:00 AM.
• Assists with staff evaluations and performance management.
• Supports leadership in achieving department goals within budgets.
• Performs document review audits for completeness and clarity.
