Responsibilities

• Provides a direct link between patients, hospitals, PCPs and insurance providers.
• Determines financial eligibility, verifies insurance and benefits, provides counseling, resources and education, coordinates referrals from PCPs and monitors admissions.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families and physician office staff for bills, claims and estimated cost of services.
