Qualifications

• 5 years related experience in health insurance, Medipac, or registration/billing.
• Medical terminology required.
• Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a direct link between patients, hospitals, PCPs and insurance providers.
• Determine financial eligibility and verify insurance/benefits.
• Counsel patients, provide resources and education on costs and services.
• Coordinate referrals from PCPs and monitor admissions.
