Qualifications

• Related - 5 years of experience.
• 5 years working with Health Insurance Plans OR Medipac OR Registration/Billing; Medical Terminology required; Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify financial eligibility and insurance benefits for transplant patients.
• Obtain pre-authorizations and coordinate transplant-related approvals.
• Counsel patients and families on estimated costs of services.
• Coordinate referrals from PCPs and monitor admissions.
• Assist with billing, claims and communication with insurers.
