Sentara Heart Hospital is hiring a Transplant Support Coordinator Registered Nurse for the Advanced Heart Program in Norfolk, VA. This role focuses on coordinating transplant services, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient records to ensure timely, high-quality care for heart transplant patients.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm. You will operate in a multi-disciplinary team, handling reception duties and supporting patients through the pre- and post-transplant process while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of scheduling experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate appointments for transplant services.
• Handle patient registration and data entry.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
• Prepare and organize medical records for the transplant program.
• Perform receptionist duties to support the transplant clinic.
