Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a Transmission Test Stand Operator in Indiana to prepare transmissions for dyno testing. You will position and secure the unit with a hoist, connect lines and hoses, and enter the tag to access the Dyno Test screen, then monitor the test report status.

The role requires physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for most of the shift, and using handheld tools. Training is provided and regular wage reviews are noted in the benefits description.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (8–10 hours).
• Ability to use handheld tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare transmissions for test runs matching the transmission type.
• Position the transmission using a hoist and connect lines/hoses to the test stand fixture.
• Enter the tag into the computer to bring up Dyno Test – Per Units and monitor the generated report.

Job Overview

This position requires Associates to prepare the transmission for a test run that matches the specific transmission type. The Associate will position the transmission in place utilizing a hoist and connecting lines/hoses and transmission to the test stand fixture. The tag # will then be entered into the computer to bring up Dyno Test – Per Units. The Associate will monitor and read a computer-generated report on the status of transmission after testing.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
• Overtime

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx… 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools

Pay Range
