Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Indiana is seeking a detail-oriented assembler for Crawford – Transmission Final Assembly. You will build, test, and inspect transmissions using handheld tools and computer programs, with a Dyno test run for quality.

This is a fast-paced, team environment with training, overtime, benefits, and 401(k) matching. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with wage reviews and performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Proficient in using handheld torque tools and basic hand tools.
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect, and test transmissions to meet quality standards.
• Operate Dyno test stand to validate build quality.
• Follow safety and process controls, document test results.

Job Description:Crawford – Transmission Final AssemblyJob Overview: This position requires high attention to detail. They will be responsible for ensuring quality, building, and testing the product to meet expectations set forth by Quality Control to ensure the perfect product for our customers. They will use general handheld tools along with computer programs when completing the processes. Quality is key, there is a Dyno (test stand) Operator who is responsible for live running completed units to validate build quality. Computer skills are preferred but not required. This is a fast-paced, team environment with an emphasis on problem solving and analytical thinking.
