Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions seeks a Crawford Facility Repair Technician to perform a variety of building and maintenance tasks. You will work from a printed worklist, read blueprints, and use work order software. The role involves heavy physical activity, indoors and outdoors, with occasional forklift duties as needed.

The position runs Monday–Friday with overtime and some Saturday work. Starting wage is $20.00/hour, with performance reviews and wage increases.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• Stand or walk a full shift (8–10 hours) continuously.
• Physically able to perform construction and maintenance work outdoors and indoors.

Responsibilities

• Construction type jobs and office cubical building repair.
• Minor building structure repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Door and window repair, restroom and drain maintenance, signals and signs repair.
• Floor, wall, ceiling, and roof repair/PM; concrete patch work.
• Work from ladders, scissor lifts, and man lifts; bulb changes and painting.

Job Description: Crawford Facility Repair Technician

Job Overview: We are looking for a self-motivated individual that can work alone to manage their daily tasks and be able to work with computers using work order type programs along with blueprint reading and being able to work from a printed worklist. This position requires a lot of physical activity and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors. Previous building or construction experience is preferred. The candidate will be responsible for the overall building type repairs and is also a backup to other positions that will require the use of a forklift. JASPER provides all Associate-Owners with the necessary tools and equipment, and you provide the mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and grow!

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
• Overtime (Must be willing to start early, work late and some Saturday work as needed)

What you’ll need to do:

• Construction type jobs
• Office Cubical building & repair
• Minor Building Structure Repairs and Preventative Maintenance
• Door and Window repair
• Restroom and drain repairs and cleaning
• Dock weather shelter repairs
• Painting Projects
• Light Bulb changes in Offices
• Repair/Install Signs, Shelving, Office furniture etc.
• Floors, Walls, Ceiling Tile, and Roof Repair/PM
• Perform concrete patch and finish type work.
• Working from ladders, scissor lifts, and man lifts to change bulbs, paint, and other work duties.

Qualifications:

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use power tools including saws, drills, table saw, concrete saw, hammer drills etc.
• Standing: Continuously
• Walking: Continuously
• Sitting: Never
• Stooping (forward leaning): Frequently.
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Frequently.

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting rate $20.00
