Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Transmission Technician preferred.
• ASE and Ford certifications preferred.
• Experience at a Ford dealership is a plus.

Base pay range

$35.00/yr - $45.00/yr

We are looking for a Transmission Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong transmission technician background and is (preferably) ASE & Ford certified. The day-to-day duties include diagnosis and repair of transmissions and related components.

Responsibilities

1. Receive repair orders and perform diagnostics and repairs efficiently and accurately.
2. Communicate with parts department and manage parts for repairs.
3. Examine vehicles for additional safety or service needs.
4. Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned.
5. Maintain shop cleanliness and tool accountability.
6. Follow safety policies and report accidents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Transmission Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE and Ford certifications preferred.
• Experience at a Ford dealership is preferred.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills and electronic diagnostic proficiency.
• Customer service skills and computer literacy.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record.
