FirstEnergy Corp. in the United States is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support the Transmission organization.

This role provides full-cycle recruiting and consulting to hiring managers across designated business units, with focus on sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer negotiation. You will partner with managers, develop job postings, ensure diverse slates, post to career sites and third-party boards, and guide the process from posting to hire while maintaining compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related discipline or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Full-cycle recruiting experience for exempt, professional-level positions preferred.
• Experience creating diverse candidate slates and using creative sourcing strategies.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (SuccessFactors/Oracle preferred).

Responsibilities

• Focus on assisting build out Transmission organization - Transmission recruiting.
• Hold strategic consultation meetings with hiring managers and develop job postings based on responsibilities and qualification requirements.
• Partnering and guiding hiring managers through the recruiting process from posting through candidate acceptance.
• Ensure diversity is represented at all stages of the hiring process in compliance with the policy.
• Posting positions on internal/external career websites and third-party job boards.
• Creating and executing candidate sourcing strategies, including sourcing passive candidates and leveraging diversity.
• Partnering with EBGRs and internal stakeholders to increase diversity of candidate slates.
• Reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, education and knowledge.
• Developing job specific pre-screening questions with hiring managers.
• Utilizing the SuccessFactors SMO ATS to manage the recruiting process.
• Conducting phone screens, interviews, and employee benefit overviews.
• Providing guidance to hiring managers to ensure compliance with employment laws.
• Developing and maintaining a network of contacts to identify qualified candidates, especially in diversity arenas.
• Creating relationships with diverse industry professionals and organizations to attract candidates.
• Serving as FirstEnergy's main point of contact for external employment candidates from screening through disposition.
• Providing complete information to motivate candidates and promote FirstEnergy values.
• Developing salary recommendations with Compensation.
• Extending job offers and negotiating terms.
• Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements.
