Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support the Transmission organization. You will lead full-cycle recruiting, partner with hiring managers, and build compelling job postings to attract top talent.

You will drive sourcing strategies, promote diverse candidate slates, and ensure compliance with employment laws while managing candidate communications from posting to offer. This role requires collaboration across HR partners and business units, with opportunities to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related discipline with 3+ years of experience.
Alternatively, 4+ years of relevant work experience in Recruiting or HR.
Experience in full-cycle recruiting for exempt, professional roles.
Experience sourcing diverse candidate slates and using creative sourcing.
Familiarity with ATS, preferably SuccessFactors or Oracle.

Responsibilities

Focus on assisting build out Transmission organization - Transmission recruiting.
Consult hiring managers and develop job postings based on responsibilities and qualifications.
Guide hiring managers through posting to candidate acceptance.
Ensure diversity is represented across hiring process per policy.
Post positions on internal/external sites and third-party job boards.
Create and execute candidate sourcing strategies, including passive candidates.
Partner with EBGRs and internal stakeholders to diversify candidate slates.
Develop working knowledge of open positions across FirstEnergy.
Review resumes for fit with position requirements.
Develop pre-screening questions with managers.
Utilize SMO ATS to manage recruiting process.
