Job summary

Evergy seeks a Transmission and Substation Business Analyst to coordinate material planning, procurement, and scheduling for large construction projects. You will liaise with Transmission, Substation Construction, Supply Chain, and vendors to forecast needs, place requisitions, and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and experience with tools like Excel, Power BI, Primavera P6, and PeopleSoft.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher is preferred.
• Experience with Stores, purchasing, plant accounting, project management and materials is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Supports material management and procurement for Large TS Construction.
• Prepare requisitions for materials and labor; order stock materials via Stores.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to track and deliver materials per schedule.
• Maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Provide material coordination support to field supervisors and engineers.
• Resolve procurement issues to minimize project impacts and maintain schedule.
