Job summary

Evergy is hiring a Transmission and Substation Business Analyst to support material management and procurement for Large TS Construction. You will prepare requisitions, coordinate with Stores and vendors, and align purchases with project schedules.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, communication, and experience with scheduling tools like Primavera P6. You’ll collaborate across departments and may assist during storm restoration efforts.

Qualifications

• Must have strong analytical skills and effective communication.
• Experience in project management or large construction programs is preferred.
• Ability to research issues, analyze data, and advise on actions.

Responsibilities

• Support material management and procurement for Large TS Construction.
• Prepare requisitions for materials and labor; coordinate with Stores.
• Liaise between Transmission & Substation Construction, Supply Chain and vendors.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to track orders and align with project schedule.
• Maintain project schedules using Primavera P6; assist with forecasting.
• Provide material coordination to field supervisors, PMs and engineers.
• Resolve procurement issues and ensure accurate cost charging.
• Support storm restoration activities and travel as needed.
