Job summary

Entergy is seeking an Engineering Associate I–Sr to manage material procurement for Substations, Transmission Lines, and System Protection. The role collaborates with Design, AM, Grids, Project Management, Construction, and Supply Chain to ensure timely ordering and receipt of materials.

The position supports stock code development, material descriptions, and supplier capability assessments, with opportunities to advance based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Supply chain, warehousing or procurement experience required.
• Mastery of material procurement processes and policies.
• Good written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Specify and order materials from Design, AM, Grids, Project Management, Construction and coordinate with suppliers and Supply Chain.
• Create and maintain stock codes and develop material descriptions from Maximo or other Entergy lists.
• Validate manufacturer and supplier information, maintain lists of approved vendors and parts.
• Track requisitions, purchase orders, and statuses; provide disposition reports.
• Prepare monthly accruals and coordinate with vendors to resolve material issues.
