Job summary

Eversource Energy in Massachusetts seeks an Analyst, Strategy and Economics to support Transmission with electricity market simulation modeling, data analysis, and industry research. You will collaborate with engineers and analysts to inform how transmission enables clean energy growth and decarbonization goals.

The role focuses on historical data, economic models, and potentially future carbon-flow software development, with travel across MA/CT/NH as needed. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, economics or finance or equivalent.
3–5 years of related experience in energy markets or transmission planning.
Experience with production cost modeling and data analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support production cost and capacity expansion modeling for the team.
Research, analyze, and document modeling input assumptions and results.
Support carbon flow modeling software development and testing.
Assist with process improvements in economic analysis.
Track federal and state clean energy policies and transmission opportunities.
Prepare reports, presentations, and procedures as needed.
