Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking an Analyst, Strategy and Economics to support Transmission. You will assist with electricity market simulations, data analysis, and industry research to help enable clean energy growth in New England.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with ISO-NE markets and Excel advanced functions. Hybrid work arrangements apply with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Economics, Finance, or equivalent.
3–5 years of related experience.
Experience with electricity market modeling and data analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support economic analysis focusing on production cost and capacity expansion modeling.
Research and document power sector modeling input assumptions and simulation results.
Support development and testing of carbon flow modeling software.
Assist with process improvements in economic analysis.
Conduct data analysis and research for internal teams as needed.
Track clean energy policies and transmission development opportunities.
Prepare reports, presentations, and procedures as required.
