Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking an Engineer, Strategy and Economics to support Transmission through electricity market simulation, data analysis, and industry research. You will collaborate with engineers and analysts to inform how electric transmission enables clean energy growth and decarbonization in New England.

The role focuses on researching electricity and emissions data and supporting market forecasting, interfacing with internal and external experts to gather data. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience with energy markets and transmission planning.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of electricity demand and emissions trends.
Document modeling input assumptions and simulation results.
Support development and testing of carbon flow modeling software.
