Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategy and Economic Analysis to support Transmission. The role focuses on early-stage development of transmission projects, using market simulations, data analysis, and industry research to inform decarbonization efforts in New England.

The position requires five to eight years of related experience, strong analytics, and collaboration with engineering teams. A hybrid work arrangement is offered with travel between MA/CT/NH as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5–8 years of experience in energy market analysis, transmission planning, or related areas.
• Strong analytical, data analysis, and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, troubleshoot, document, and maintain zonal and nodal energy market models in PLEXOS.
• Analyze and document results of energy market simulations with graphs and reports.
• Research policies impacting Eversource transmission business and modeling assumptions.
• Support other groups by providing data, outputs, or domain knowledge.
