Job summary

APR Staffing is seeking a Contract Project Coordinator 1 to support the Transmission Project Portfolio Management organization. This role will assist corporate Managers and PMs across Substation, Telecommunication, Transmission Lines, and Facility projects, guiding work through the full lifecycle and coordinating schedules, meetings, and documentation.

You will apply PMI-based practices, monitor milestones, manage communications with sponsors and stakeholders, and help prepare progress reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Business Admin, Management, Organizational Development, Computer Science or related field.
• 1 year of experience is required with an applicable Bachelor’s degree.
• 3 years of experience required with a Bachelor’s degree not in applicable fields.
• 5 years of experience required without a degree.
• Experience should include direct work experience in project coordination/control including process development and execution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for corporate manager-assigned projects to meet goals within time and funding parameters.
• Track project milestones and schedules; update schedules as required.
• Assist with risk management activities and alert staff to risks and mitigation requirements.
• Prepare and distribute project documentation: logs, reports, meeting minutes and status updates.
• Facilitate project meetings and coordinate attendees, agendas, and minutes.
