Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks a qualified professional to drive Right-of-Way preparation and access for major transmission projects. You will assist in estimating, pre-construction planning, and coordination across multiple companies to ensure accurate pricing, scheduling, and risk mitigation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management and at least 3 years in heavy civil construction with estimating experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Right-of-Way Preparation, Access or related Heavy Civil construction including field construction management and estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements for construction/transmission projects.

Responsibilities

• Support in estimating and pre-construction efforts to ensure accurate pricing, resource scheduling, scope alignment and risk mitigation.
• Track, manage, and communicate project pursuits and on-going construction project status updates.
• Coordinate with multiple companies to integrate Right-of-Way preparation and access into project schedules and budgets.
• Provide guidance and problem-solving to project teams to enhance project execution.
• Gather lessons learned from completed projects and implement improvements for future projects.
• Track project performance, cost structures, and productivity to identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor financial and operational performance metrics related to Access work and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Suggest and implement Value Engineering alternatives during the estimating and construction process.
• Identify potential risks related to Access work and support teams in developing mitigation strategies.
