Job summary

SolveNow LLC is seeking a Project Manager to oversee overhead transmission projects in the United States. You will manage scope, budgets, schedules, and client coordination to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 7+ years in engineering project management within Transmission & Distribution, plus travel and strong communication skills. PE and PMP are preferred credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of related experience, with 3+ years managing engineering projects in Transmission & Distribution.
• PE registration preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Experience producing transmission design and construction documents.
• Knowledge of the NESC code and industry standards.
• Must be able to travel.
• Valid driver's license and driving privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management of projects from concept to completion, including siting, permitting, planning, estimating, engineering, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs.
• Own internal project financials, staffing, risk management, change management, and HR issues.
• Serve as primary client contact for coordination, planning, budgets, subcontracting, and schedule attainment.
• Develop project policies, procedures, controls, and execution plan.
• Ensure deliverables meet client satisfaction and QA/QC guidelines.
• Travel to client and project locations is expected.
• Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring within the Transmission team.
• Direct and coordinate activities of several disciplines on moderate scope projects.
• All other duties as assigned.
