Job summary

APS (Arizona Public Service) is seeking Project Manager I/II to lead transmission projects from initiation to completion in a hybrid work environment in Arizona. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets up to multi-million dollars, and partner with engineers and leadership to ensure on-time delivery that supports grid reliability and the state's energy growth.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering related field and several years of PM experience, with PMP

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems or related field required.
2+ years PM experience for PM I; 5+ years for PM II with proven project delivery.
Experience managing scopes, schedules, budgets and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead moderate projects across one or more units, managing scope, schedule and budget.
Develop and present project plans, obtain approvals and manage resources.
Coordinate planning, staffing, reporting, vendor relations and issue resolution.
Monitor performance and adjust schedules, costs or resources as needed.
Direct team resources and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Ensure quality, reliability, schedule and cost compliance.
Provide status updates to sponsors and senior management.
