Job summary

AVANGRID SERVICE COMPANY seeks a Project Manager for Transmission & ISO Policy to lead policy development and regulatory strategies supporting growth in transmission assets. You will guide discussions across federal and state regulators, industry groups, and internal teams to advance company positions.

This role requires deep knowledge of transmission policy, FERC proceedings, and ISO-NE/NYISO markets, with strong analytical and communication skills to influence outcomes and drive regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in transmission policy, regulatory affairs, energy markets, or related fields.
• Experience with regulatory processes, including FERC proceedings, transmission tariffs, or ISO/RTO market structures.
• Strong understanding of utility ratemaking principles and transmission cost recovery.
• Ability to influence outcomes across functional teams and stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate participation in federal and state regulatory proceedings related to transmission and energy markets.
• Develop and implement policy and regulatory strategies to support transmission investment and energy market objectives.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to develop aligned Company positions.
• Represent the Company externally in ISO-NE and NYISO stakeholder processes and industry working groups.
• Deliver high-impact presentations to company leadership on policy and regulation.
• Prepare high-quality written materials, including regulatory filings, reports, presentations, and executive briefings.
• Support Company representation in meetings, hearings, and technical sessions with regulators and stakeholders.
